  1. Suzi (the cat) is walking around looking like she’s been in a duel, or a very small knife fight – two diagonal slashes across her nose, from a scrap with another cat. Deep, but being tended and healing.

  2. The BMW is now up to 840 miles, and loosening up nicely; over the weekend I did a jaunt up to Preston and back to see Nick, Helen and wee sproggie Alexandra, who levered herself up on the toddle-truck I provided and bimbled across the livingroom floor, to everone’s great delight. Apparently she’s quite new to the whole “walking” thing.

  3. The old random .signature file generator has been resurrected and spliced into the sidebar; now to extend the collection of quotes.

    to “bimble”, she bimbled, you bimbling ?, …. what an excellent addition to the english language, and describes the early stages of a toddler walking, most excellently!

    “To bimble” has been around for years.. it’s more a leisurely meander than anything else. Try a Google for “bimbled”.

    Certainly a great word, I agree wholeheartedly with that. 🙂

    Just tried a Google Scholar search for “bimble” and this was the second result. Unfortunately it’s a pay for paper so you can’t get any more than this:
