   I’m looking forward to the ban on smoking in licensed venues that will happen here in Victoria tomorrow.. Might even be able to go and see some bands play at local venues now!

   Surprising how quickly you start taking it for granted. I’ve actually found it a bit odd visiting pubs in England over the past few months: “Why is the place full of smo…oh, wait, wrong country.”

   First time I went into a pub after the ban in Wales was a bit strange – I couldn’t work out at first why everyone in the bar seemed supernaturally clear and vividly coloured. I could SEE people on the other side of the pub perfectly clearly. Eerie.
