   a little bit, but also felt that I wanted to move back to a 70/30 or 80/20 split, rather than the 17/66/17 three-column format which worked for a while, but looked rather crowded with some of the recent postings.

   blosxom does need some re-engineering work but i still like the overall simplicity of the software, and that I can hack it trivially with my current skillset to reject most forms of comment spam – what you see here occasionally are a tiny fraction of the attempts which get logged.

   next time you’re over i’ll pick your brains about wordpress, see what it’s like.

   Gradually i am also migrating all the formatting over to CSS. It’s a slow process.
