Open Rights Group: “The Online Safety Act is coming for Streamers”

Basically: ANYBODY WHO IS STREAMING will need to be age verified to make sure that they are not a child, otherwise they will be banned from receiving comments and audience interaction.

Age verification laws are set to be expanded to all streamers. Under measures Ofcom propose, all streamers will need to get age verified. If they don’t no one will be able to like, comment or react to any of their streams. This will essentially ban all teenagers from being able to have a functioning live stream! #streaming #UK #live
