  1. @alecm That’s not the end of the story, though. The government has to respond to petitions with 10,000 signatures, which it has now done (in entirely predictable terms). For a petition with over 100,000 signatures (which this one now greatly exceeds) the Parliamentary Petitions Committee has to consider whether to hold a debate in Parliament. I’m not sure about the criticism of the drafting of the petition BTW. It come across as measured and highlights one area of genuine concern (hobby forums).

    1. I dearly hope you are correct and that I am wrong, my feeling is that the headline is simply too broad and too blunt and leads to instant dismissal by arrogant politicians
