  • Dinner…

    2007/07/08 20:47:37 BST

…with Adriana was lovely; warm baguette with melting butter, caviar and hard-boiled egg for starters – accompanied by freezing-cold Grey Goose vodka, followed by smoked salmon — sprinkled with lemon juice and freshly ground pepper — with tarragon scrambled eggs. • Hardware-Debugging My Cat.

    2007/07/04 11:10:25 BST

Then I

Valerie pinged me last night with this piece of marvelousness: Sometimes I have some challenging ideas, or crazy like some other people would say. This time I thought about our cat who is the whole day out, returning sometimes hungry sometimes not, sometimes with traces of fights, sometimes he stay also the night out. When

  • Amazing…

    2007/07/03 20:39:59 BST

So I go away overnight, and by way of protest one of my cats – the smarter one, who sometimes sleeps on my keyboard to maximise the chance I’ll tickle him – barfs on my laptop bag, between the shoulder straps. Evil little sod.

  • Truth in advertising

    2007/07/02 11:49:38 BST

So I keep getting spam with as subject “Get a bigger instrument“, and instead of them offering a bigger instrument they offer pills and other questionable bits and bobs to modify one’s anatomy.

  • Facebook is getting annoying…

    2007/06/30 09:35:43 BST

I can cope with the silliness like zombies and stuff like that, but I added one of the applications – some question/answering thing – to find that it spontaneously mailed all my friends to ask “How was your weekend”… and now Facebook are demanding that I provide a security question “in case I should ever
