Actually, the fact that it comes up as 0000000000 means that it was extracted from the feedback files / ciphertext cache. Not merely was the General’s password shoddy, it had been broken before. Or the production designers didn’t want to hang about. 🙂
I’m sure Crack displays its progress one cracked character at a time….
Apparently not; but there is a distinctive “beep” each time a keystroke is made on the terminal emulator.
