  1. With every iteration and turn Apple make MacOS X worse for those who want to use it for anything other than giving money to Apple.

    With Xcode it’s merely pointless meddling and breakage. Why remove the command line utilities EVERY TIME YOU UPGRADE forcing you to download them again? Of course, to do so you need an Apple ID which is a registered developer.

    Now, try this on a lab full of computers in a university or corporate environment. Complete and utter FAIL.

    The App Store for MacOS is effectively making MacOS unusable in a scientific context, in the same way that Apple abandoned their other core non-personal users, media developers.

    They have to hope that the domestic market for their products doesn’t crash as they’ve now jettisoned or jettisoning all the user base which kept them alive in the lean years.
