I would like to wholeheartedly affirm that music-sharing increases the amount of music that you actually buy.

I am comfortably certain that I am not the only person whose CD-purchasing has skyrocketed since browsing other peoples’ playlists on iTunes – otherwise I would probably never have even heard of some of the bands whose work I have since purchased.
