HELP: Someone plz remind me: tool for ripping thru disk/exe images looking for crypto key material?

There was some tool a few years ago which would skim through data files looking for little spots of hardcoded entropy which might correlate to encryption keys being hardcoded/embedded in a binary.

It started out as a research project but I am assuming it got improved since.

    Not seen a tool, but the maths it’s based on would very likely have come from a paper by Shamir and van Someren during the latter’s days at nCipher. See http://www.cs.jhu.edu/~astubble/600.412/s-c-papers/keys2.pdf
