Hi, this is a serious job-related mail. Flippant, yes, but serious.

A good friend has fallen desperately in love with Canada – and a Canadian – and is looking to move from mainland Europe to your fine country in pursuit of same.

Knows: basically everything about security – 10+ years of this sort of thing – ex-Sun Microsystems support services / professional services / consultancy and engineering; includes trusted computing and mandatory access control environments where he’s one of the few people on the planet who actually understands Trusted Solaris to the point where it’s a useful tool.

Unlike me he’s actually bothered studying for qualifications in the topic… because he likes that sort of thing.

Has at least four languages; fluent Dutch, English, French, and readonly in German. Also has experience of an astonishing range of Belgian ale, and is musical albeit his definition of this include bagpipes.
