i’ve written elsewhere about the vandalism of the 7000+ year old rollright-stones circle on april 1st; my friend jane hopkins posted a link to some photos of the damage, taken at the weekend:

i suppose there is some small consolation that the damage will pass/erode eventually, but for the next few thousand years it will make a nasty mark on the landscape, all because someone wanted to be an utter pillock.
