it’s damp, it’s been raining, and it’s a lovely day.

i woke inexplicably early (0530h) showered and breakfasted, and crashed on the sofa a bit, to snuggle the cat. tea, telephoned to pay some bills, joined the bmf, and got in the car to drive to work.

I got as far as one end of my driveway when I found the two mature cherry trees were dropping pink blossom all over the road, so I went and parked the car under the tree for 5 minutes, to comtemplate life from under a snowstorm of petals.

I like cherry blossom.

Then I discovered that my local council works department have finally installed the roadsign for my house, that I requested last december. A good portent for the future.
