During some redundancy consultations in Sun UK a few years back I suggested to Leslie Stretch, the UK VP, that we automatically select for redundancy anyone in the company who had ever done a reply-all saying “please unsubscribe me from this alias”. He laughed, but I could tell from his expression that the he though the idea had some merit.
