and then there were two…

Frosty morning today, after having picked up the new bike last night in fact it’s darned chilly back here in Blighty.

The new bike can be seen at [crypticide.org] compared contrasted and secured to my old one. I am keeping both for a while, not least to maintain my insurance no-claims bonus, but also the old one is a better road bike in certain key respects.

I’ll sell it in the summertime.

The compost heap is completed and mostly filled [crypticide.org] and I am due to get the lawnmower out for what hopefully will be the last time this year.

The final Concorde flights should go over my house this afternoon at around 1540h – there’s a good chance of it, anyway, so I shaln’t bother going to Heathrow to see them land. I’ve lived under the flightpath for 4 years now and am not too worried about losing them, although I have to agree that the are a beautiful sight, and (also) sound, at least occasionally.

Time for coffee.
