one of the unexpected upsides of going to the security ambassadors earlier this month, was meeting ulrich and discovering that for the past 10 years, a group of bikers from my company have been meeting up for an annual run through the alps: [www.suntour.ch]

i am not sure whether my next bike will be “up” to alpine terrain – the drz350 predecessor to my drz400 was a famous “round the world” bike, but might lack the puff necesssary to propel a muffett up an alp without serious modification, larger fuel tank, etc.

it’s worth a thought, though.
