Xtracycle Conversion Kit – Subframe

Xtracycle Conversion Kit – Subframe

I’ll do a rough-fit assembly next week sometime, and then buy a few replacement parts to set it up properly; it’ll need a new chain for starters…

Be really interested to see this built up in GMP maybe …

Been following the Xtracycle/work bike stuff for a while now and toying with the idea of building up one. Might just be the push I need …

    Good luck

How did I miss this? I’ll check my feedreader in case you have dropped off.

Anyway, very much looking forward to hearing how this goes.

And just trying to figure whether I can really justify the cost of doing one myself. Probably should use the bike more first, then turn it into an xtracycle.

@Craig – what is GMP (I thought it was the Gnu maths library thing)?

Ahh, I see why I hadn’t seen it – for some reason this isn’t part of you alecm feed?

  4. @Neil, yeah, Flickr photos come in as my “alecm-moblog” user, which is a separate feed from my actual “alecm” blog; the cycle stuff should appear in the “All Postings” feed, however.

There are (IIRC) 4 users on dropsafe, 3 of whom are me. 🙂

GMP = “The Office”, aka Guillemont Park, nr Jct 4A of the M3.

@Craig: I will definitely bring it in, in the new year…

Aha, and no separate feed for alecm-moblog, so only appears in “all postings”?
