One of the most dangerous ways homosexuality invades family life is through popular music. Parents should keep careful watch over their children’s listening habits, especially in this Internet Age of MP3 piracy.

Bands to watch out for:

Go check out the list of Gay Bands, and then the Safe Bands (including Blondie, and the Dresden Dolls, which surprises me)

Compare the sizes of the two lists. And the quality of the music and invention.

Then check the proposition:

    I like the listing of Frank Sinatra – trying to figure out how he’s made a list gay bands – Lyrics mostly about heterosexual love, notorious chaser of women.

    CHOPS and the ‘gay music’ thing was on Radio1 (yes I do listen to it for my sins) some time back. I had a bit of a follow up, really hoping that it wasn’t a Christian site, and it does appear to be somewhat of a spoof.

    this is bogus, some bands have a diferent tendency because of their cultural references and they are European. Coldplay,Radiohead, are just more expressive in their lYrics and way of singing. One thing is the be Christian and another is to be Religous. Im Christian, not gay, nor Religous.

    I don’t see why gays should be worse musicians. A lot of my gay friends are way more into music than any of my straight friends. I would say this list is bullshit. The intention is clear to me, though, to spread hate and bigotry against gays.

    This reminds me very much of segregation in the USA and Nazis in Germany. Hate against a group of people justified by dogma. I don’t think people putting together sites like this are any better.
