The Evening’s Cuisine…

Tea & Ginger Nuts

Takeaway Chinese: plain boiled rice, stirfried pickled duck, spicy prawns and water-chestnuts. Superb.

Hachez Cocoa D’Arriba Mango & Chili Chocolate – very good

Hachez Cocoa De Maracaibo – exquisite, the best milk chocolate I’ve had

Chili Beef Jerky with a chaser of Hereford Cider Brandy

How was yours?

  1. Sounds tasty!

    I cooked my own stirfry.

  2. Grilled pork, apple sauce, steamed asparagus tossed with lemon juice, olive oil and a touch of garlic salt and mashed steamed pumpkin.

  3. What is a “ginger nut” and where does one obtain such a thing?

Mine was Tomato and Artichoke with Penne, cooked up by my girlfriend and myself.

  4. @Matt – I think the canadian term is Ginger Snaps, not sure, and I have no idea what the American term is. Pictures on the other hand are available:

    …and they are a classic biscuit/cookie.
