well, i had my mate iain around last night, found several cosmetic cracks in my bedroom plasterwork, drained and dismounted the radiators, and moved all my living-things into the spare room.

tonight will be removal of shelving and other fittings, and i’ll try and get the beds and other things relocated too. hopefully tomorrow i can start with the wall preparation and general clean-up, and by monday or tuesday night i should have everything fit for surface priming.

my first crack at home decoration – wish me luck.
