Old Phones

I grew up with a phone like this...

I grew up with a phone exactly like this.

It was a pain to use. If you were phoning into local radio quiz competitions, you had to use a pen to dial since the dialer holes were too small and wore your finger out.

It got chucked when my parents exchange went DTMF.

Apparently it would now be worth £330.00.

Sigh.

    It was the first phone in the immediate vicinity, and people used to flock to use it, putting their penny (or whatever it was) in a can by the phone to pay for their call.
