Welcome to the longest night.
Solstice is at 0608h GMT tomorrow.
Another year over.
The days start getting longer from now on.
Summer is on the way.
And we are alive.
Greetings from shortest night down here.. 🙂
Now if we could just work out an exchange program where we could swap some of your rain for some of our heat..
Glad to hear the days will be getting longer although the summer feels at its most distant. Any chance of reading the stars to see if the humid freezing weather will start receeding as well? Brrrr.
Hmm… where did that last half of the year get to? I’m sure I had it around here somewhere…
From the Summer Solstice until equinox I was so wrapped up with preparation for and looking forward to my trip to Tromsø that it went in a flash.
The period between the equinox and now has just been so busy at work that I’ve hardly notice that pass either!
I wonder what the next trip around the merry-go-round will bring.
