Is it just me, or does YouTube’s user interface really suck?
I have confirmed and reconfirmed my e-mail address several times in the past hour, and cannot get through the “Upload” dialogue without being re-requested to confirm my e-mail address.
Both Safari and Firefox. MacOS 10.3.9.
Is their backend database screwy, or something?

Good luck. I’ve been unable to use YouTube for months now because no matter what I do it keeps sending endlesds confirmation e-mails, tells me my e-mail is confirmed, then asks me to confirm it again. Not worth the trouble. I hope they lose billions in copyright lawsuits the b*stards.
Same here, what a crappy site, i’ve got like a dozen or more confirmation emails and i’ve confirmed every one.

hey guys, i figured it out, at least it worked for me, when you click the upload video thing after u have confirmed ur email, click the upload video button again from the email confirm page.

Hello, I tried to do multiple try to confirm email but it failed. Than I just did a LOGOUT of youTube & login. Now it allows me to upload videos… I am not sure what’s wrong but this worked for me. Give it a try.
I agree. this is so retarded. ive done this 50 times. NEVER WORKED
I just wanna upload videos. I know why youtube isn’t doing what i want. BECAUSE YOUTUBE IS EVIL!

Hey guys! I did what Jigz said to do. Logout then relogin .Go to upload in the right corner and click it .It will send you back to confirm email .(I know I know you did that like a thousand times! Just try it.) Put in password then confirm your email . Then check your email. Hopefully it will be there .I couldn’t get it to confirm until I did what Jigz did then it worked( so far) I confirmed and it pulled up youtube page with email confirmed statis! 🙂
So now I am going to email youtube and tell them they need to clear up this stupid lack of information about loging out and reloging in so we don’t all go postal on their a__s! I mean come on how hard is it to think ahead and include better instructions? Would save them all the hate mail! :0

I can’t even get a confirmation email OR reset password email. And don’t tell me to check the spam coz I’ve already done that a million times as well as putting youtube on the ‘safe’ list.
I usually use Firefox, but when I click on the confirmation link the computer opens youtube with Explorer and the confirmation becomes invalid. I forced Firefox to open the confirmation link and voilá it works!
i agree with everyone. youtube is a good place to watch videos but not to upload them. FORGET ABOUT YOUTUBE!
i fuckin do not no what to do after it says they have confirmed the e-mail or some shit cause im new and don’t no how to check my e-mail or i don’t if im checkin it when i go to the inbox or so …….if you at least can tell me how to check my e-mail hit me bacc

I just followed the advise of a previous post… log out and back in. it worked.
i loged out and back in many many times and it still doesnt work

I’ve tried to confirm my youtube email plenty of times but it’s not working and I was just wondering if any one could help me because I’ve read many emails and tried what they said but nothing is working… Thank you for your Help 🙂

i’m pretty pissed off as well.
i’ve tried EVERYTHING to get a youtube account,
and looked everywhere online.
but i guess that no one is experiencing the same problems as me?

You Tube it’s the best site, and in my opinion i think that this site everyday become more and more interesting and more pleasant . Also very considerable this site ,anyway YouTube i like it so much that sometimes purely i don’t wanna to go near PC
