    Thoroughly enjoyed that :-).

    Regarding the “text blogs vs podcasts vs vlogs” thing, though, I wonder if it’s a generational thing. “When we were lads”, I suspect media studies courses / school lessons were thin on the ground, if not nonexistent – certainly it wasn’t a subject that was taught in South Cheshire, and I distinctly remember my school getting its first video camera when I was 15.

    Also, during the more formative years of my youth, home video cameras were shoulder-luggable excruciatingly expensive behemoths that maybe a few people in the average town had.

    “Kids these days” are growing up in front of lenses which capture more than still images, these days. Maybe the whole podcast / vlog thing will come more naturally to them than it does to us…
