Top Gear got an Emmy?

As recently mentioned by Clarkson:

Global Emmy for car show Top Gear

Presented by Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, long-running BBC Two series Top Gear test-drives cars and discusses motoring issues. Versions of the show have been sold to broadcasters around the world.

I understand that TG is being aired on the Discovery Channel in the USA – in a heavily edited format, apparently, so if you’re enthusiastic about the programme and American, you’ld be weel-advised to check out [www.finalgear.com] to see the real thing – and wonder what influence if any this might one day have on the American car-driving public.

Like “cars that can go ’round corners”, for instance? 😎

    TopGear ala USA….

Yes, it is heavily editied, and that makes us sad. Discovery channel is great, but not everyone watches it, so it doesn’t get the large audience it needs.

I could not agree more. I am addicted to the show and not getting the full version makes me very sad. Now I can not find the show anywhere here. I use Google labs to watch the videos of Top gear
