In late 2002 I produced a 30 minute security training video to convey the concept of “defence in depth”, and to illustrate this waged a one-man assault on Maiden Castle – a bronze-age hill fort. The video worked quite well, although I regret losing the footage of my being lacerated by barbed wire – which would have helped drive the point home about having multiple, thin layers of defence.
