So here’s my theory:

• The Colorado case goes to SCOTUS…
• …who decide that 14A only prevents Trump from taking office and not from being on the ballot, so…
• Trump goes on the ballot, the other states fold
  
• Trump uses the PR to energise his base and wins narrow victory…
• …even though he cannot take office (14A) without a 2/3 of majority of both houses
• …leading to a multi-month “hanging chad“-style clusterfuck until Trump is due to take the oath, where he is both president-elect yet not allowed to be president
• It gets to inauguration day and he just does it because he doesn’t care about the rules, and he plans to retrospectively nix 14A if he cares about it at all
• The Democrats fold for the sake of national unity
• America becomes a dictatorship, because it gets the kind of political leaders that it teaches the people they deserve.
