    a very valid question (if I understand you correctly) which goes along with me frequently the last years as with a lot of ex-co-workers I know. For sure there is no single response. Not an excuse but even if others countries didn’t make it into this list, there is a lot of lists outside.

    I was gobsmacked to find Japan on the same list, the only two remaining G8 countries (with the USA) to use capital punishment.
