So let’s try and get this straight:

• Deportations to Rwanda are unlawful
• because the Supreme Court said so
• and to fix this, the Government want:
• (a) to declare Rwanda to be a nice place
• (b) to withdraw from a different court, the ECHR
• …which as an action would nix the Good Friday Agreement
• rebooting terrorism in Ireland
• and risking nixing the Trade & Cooperation Agreeement
• i.e. the post-Brexit skeleton agreement that allows Britain to trade with the EU
• and yet yesterday, Braverman was fired
• and even though this was her “thing”
• Sunak and the others have decided to keep doing it
• because “stopping small boats”
• is more important than any of the above.
