While the price at the pump has risen in every state vs. a year ago, in some states the price of gas has increased at a much slower rate, and many are much closer to $3.50 than to $4.00 per gallon, well below the national average price. In 10 states the average price of a gallon of gas is $3.60 or less — 18 cents less than the national average of $3.78 per gallon.
Makes you wonder where the money is going to, coming from, or both?
