Pictures from the BBCNew Road Cricket Ground being flooded out is not unusual, local legend has it of a match where one wicket-keeper was bitten by a Pike – but Holt Heath is high ground, unfortunately on clay, so that’s probably why it’s flooded. I know people who live there, I hope they’re OK.

Similarly Tiddesley Wood Nature Reserve and Droitwich High St about 100m from where my dad lives.

Eek.

    I assume that your Dad is currently dry and reachable somehow in advance of it arriving at his door, as i can’t imagine him being able to move very fast! Give him (and your sis) our best – hope they all stay dry – guess Mandy may be working from home?
