Why didn’t anyone tell me that Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather is being made into a movie?
David Jason as Albert should be rather good; although he can be menacing I’m not sure whether Joss Ackland is ebullient enough to be Ridcully, and there is scant information about Michelle Dockery (Susan) to be found on the web.
Ha! Pratchett himself cameos as “The Toymaker”, and Nigel Planer and Tony Robinson are doing their mandatory turns…

The 1st i heard of this was when I was in town and nearly choked on my sandwich when i noticed a calendar of the hogfather. Didn’t Pratchett say he wouldn’t make a film despite numerous offers from directors? Not that I’m complaining – bring on the Hogfather!
