A startling revelation: if folk who are supposed to be fighting for your rights abandon the battlefield in fear & despair, then there will no longer be a fight. Who would have guessed?
Supposedly 3.2 million people “saw” the EFF tweet; which is comparable to / only marginally less than the total daily usage of Bluesky.
@alecm we can only guess about their definition of "people", "views" or "impressions"…
Yeaaaaaaah, but on the other hand 1) they were commented upon by the head of product who has 943,000 followers; and 2) if 99% of that 3.2 million are fake, that’s still 32,000 users which would be 20% of their bluesky followership; and I doubt 99% of it is fake.
