People, chill out! It’s an AD! Does it grabs people attention? Yes it does! That is all it is suppose to be. If Gene were alive, I think he would have seen the humourous side of it. I did, and I’ve seen ‘Singing in the Rain’ so often I know the dialogue by heart!
Personally, I’m a Donald O’Connor fan! He was far more innovative than Gene!

AAhhh perish the thought of it being Des o’connor. me thinks he would have had an heart attack had he tried that VW ad. It’s cool. But then companies will do anything to sell their products won’t they? Be cool everyone.

I don’t understand how it’s sacreligious. How is Gene Kelly any different than the Pepsi comercial with sparticus (sp?). i don’t find ANYTHING worng with it, its cool. I downloaded it too.

That is one of the most amazing things i’ve seen the human body do in my life. that man deserves an award. if i could dance like that, my life would be complete!
