I honestly can’t decide whether Github’s removal of cookie banners means that EU privacy activists will spend more time celebrating, or trying to sue them:
The urge to play policeman is strong in the privacy community, and Github is now owned by Microsoft (and capitalism, and therefore wrong) – so I’m going to start a timer for how long it is until we see coverage of some privacy wonk finding a new way to attack what Github is doing. GitHub
