OK, this is driving me crazy; on the southbound M40, as you pass into Oxfordshire, approaching the Banbury junctions the Prodrive building will be on your right, and from somewhere will come the aroma of chocolate, or perhaps coffee beans, being roasted or otherwise cooked.
The scent is not strong, but it is consistent, and I presume is being blown from a nearby factory.
Does anyone know which? A rough search of Google has yielded nothing useful, due to keyword clashes.

Its been there for a very very long time and everytime you go to Banbury on whatever day youy will ALWAYS get the smell of coffee. I personally wouldnt like to live near to it, the smell would drive me insane and i would HAVE to move!

There is a KraftJacobSuchard factory, true, and they do make coffee mong other things. But the chocolate smell is from the Chocolate factory, BarryCallebaut. They make the base chocolate for Thorntons, Marks and Spencers and apparently Hotel Chocolat. We also have a bread factory, so depending on which way the wind blows you can get coffee, chocolate or hot cross bun aromas!
