Well I have temporarily shelved the whole pen matter, until Christmas is over, but in the interim have cleaned and resurrected my father’s 1965-vintage Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph 3065HO – not least in order to get me into the habit of carrying a potential ink-bomb around with me, and adjusting my behaviour accordingly.

Last time I was using this pen in anger was… ooh… 1988? It’s probably not worth anything, but it has personal significance.

Also, as predicted, I seem to have started doodling again.
