RSA SECURITY AND Sun Microsystems announced a joint sales, engineering and marketing agreement Thursday to integrate several of their network security products, an alliance the companies say will offer customers a complete security package and help administrators protect services and assets accessible through the Internet.
RSA’s ClearTrust Web access management software is now interoperable with Sun’s ONE (Open Network Environment) Directory Server and ONE Portal Server, and porting of the software to Sun’s ONE Application Server is in progress. That port should be completed by the end of August, according to an RSA spokesman.
