Every month I encounter people who simply “don’t get it” – generally they are the sorts of folk who used to work on mainframes, call IT “Data Processing” and never updated their skills when Unix/Linux arrived.

Certainly they never got into blogging, and hence tend to treat the Web as one big File Manager desktop.

Now they are all advising Governments. Alas.

Yes, this is stereotyping. But it’s somewhat true.
