A very good piece of work. I’ve been a happy FileVault user since v1 came out (although migrating an FV1 homedir and all its attendant app settings to an SSD replacement for my dying HD wasn’t exactly fun, as Migration Assistant and FileVault don’t play together…) but I took the opportunity to upgrade to FileVault 2 at the same time, at it’s worked just fine since.
On a related point, I wonder if FileVault (any flavour) will get FIPS 140 certification any time soon? It’s been on certification track for literally years…
