Bit ironic: Callooh Callay are having to take some of their drinks off the menu because ingredients – mixers, liqueurs – have run out and can’t be restocked easily… their distributors will only deliver between midnight and five am in their part of London, deeming it to be too close to the Olympics to take the risk of deliveries going wrong during the day.

But the bar closes at midnight…
