“cyberpunk muds: postmodern or what …?”

My colleague Dave Levy‘s introductory article – outlining the Labour Economics of various multiplayer games on the net – has got to be one of the bizzarely personally resonant things I have read in a long time.

As I have an extensive historical interest in this topic combined with what I do and whom I meet-with for work, makes it feel rather surreal to read [blogs.sun.com]

    Damn, this brings back way too many memories. It’s nice to see the chart of MUD families is actually correct. Most people on TinyMUSHes and TinyMUXs these days get hyper defensive if you call a MUSH a MUD. 🙂
