Search Engine Queries that have landed here…

I decided to dig-up the searches which have landed on this weblog in the past couple of months – thinking this was a trivial venture I did a bit of grepping, only to find that the results were infeasibly large for a single blog article.

I have therefore posted the results at [www.crypticide.com] for the moment.

They may find a permanent home, later.

They also make somewhat entertaining reading – I have forced them lowercase and sorted them, but that is about all; replications serve to demonstrate how many times particular queries have been performed.

Some of them have evidently fallen foul of all the words are on the same page syndrome; others are simply out of context, and the remainder? I have no idea how they landed here.

a small sample:

“access only from within the united states”
“alan cox” pakistan
“bp ultimate” brand awareness
“david edmondson” -radioshack -scientology -uncollected -radio -shack
“jane hopkins” witch
“julianne regan” depression
“knight orc” “copy protection”
“running of the sheep” new zealand pictures
“the chump” and aberystwyth
“where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods where is street-wise hercules”
alec muffett patent
cialis backache and muscle ache were also reported, sometimes with delayed onset muscle pain backache
dogging droitwich
dogging oxon
ibook power adapter break
ibook power cable replacement
ibook power died
ibook power supply cable replacement
ibook power supply destroy

love you more than i can say

Hmm, someone searching for “alec muffett patents” – perhaps someone from the USPTO doing a prior art search before making you illegal ? 🙂
