So I’m at home eating a couple of oeufs-en-cocote and some cheap Tesco Vratislav lager – which I am very happy to drink especially since Michael Jennings’ discovery that Vratislav is OEM‘ed Staropramen which is a very respectable beer indeed.
But now I am looking at my bottle and wondering: at 99p per 500ml bottle, am I now one of the louts that Theresa May has set her sights upon for my own good and for the good of the nation.
The bottle says “2.5 UK units” – horrors! I am not enjoying a drink! I AM PRE-LOADING!
I am underpaying by all of £0.01p!
I must go smash up a shop or something, I’ll have to check my calendar and schedule it. Perhaps in June when it’s warmer?
