Which modem are you interested in: I’ve had two, and found them both reasonable on Optus in Australia. The older one (sort of an ovalish biscuit shape, E220 I think from memory) needed some third party software to make it play nice. The new little one (looks like a thumb drive) works like a charm – even my husband can use it with no trouble.
