Wolfram Alpha – Helpfulness Fail

OK, I am not as famous as Dave Winer, so not by any means should I expect to replicate his experience

wolfram

…but c’mon; “Wolfram|Alpha isn’t sure what to do with your input”?

How about “punt it to a Google search” – Jeez, I’ve gone there for information and if they can’t provide from their preened and fluffed database, then maybe they could help me.

(No coffee yet today. Muffett is grumpy.)

ps: what’s with the stupid infix pipe character?

But are you an expert on Alec Muffett? Could you help?

Hmm, seems they have some LSE stocks with a factor if 100 error on the pricing as well.

I wonder if Wolfram will buy my shares at £11 a share, as I was kind of planning to sell should it every reach 30 pence a share.

I had high expectations for the service but boy is it lame. I’m not sure what is the problem domain they’re trying to address.
