I just found a bug, I think!
The “Reset Safari” pulldown menu is meant to eradicate the entire browser’s state – so why is it that:
1) if I log into a site which uses HTTP Basic Authentication (possibly other forms, too) and supply my username and password…
2) and then I do “Reset Safari” with all boxes checked…
…somehow I can reload the website pages without having to reauthenticate?
I suspect the cache of authenticated users/passwords is not being flushed. Can someone confirm this bug?
Also: it strikes me as really silly that if i have only one tab open, I can tear-off the tab (resize widget top-right) which closes itself and opens a new window… achieving precisely nothing.
