Brian Herman Video: “Project Management is Leadership”

No, I haven’t flipped out.

My colleague Brian Herman has been watching Lessig, Hardt and me, and has correctly intuited the reasons why that presentation style is so successful – which he clearly articulates in the first couple of minutes of his own, first-ever, presentation:

It’s worth listening to, and it almost makes Project Managment, inspirational. Now if only he could fix AIM[1]. 😛

[1] Corporate in-joke. Sorry.

ps: Brian’s gone straight into video blogging without the intervening step of having a blog; feel free to leave comments for him here, until he gets himself sorted out, poor lad.

  1. I love the part where the slide says “Sun Confidential Internal Only” at the bottom of it. 😀

This video auto launched when I came to visit your site this morning. Did you mean to do that? Here’s my latest portmanteau word: “feow”. 🙂

Blip TV doesn’t work too well on my PC at home, but rather than try to get out of it playing, I just listened to it.

i’m pretty sure i recognized the slide from the it metrics page. 🙂

anyway, this is quite timely. i’m working on my presentation for apachecon eu in a few weeks. i’ve been thinking about a lot of the points made here wrt my how i want to present my information too. so it sounds like i’m on the right page. [it has been forever since i’ve done any sort of speaking engagement.] now i just need to worry about my overuse of american colloquialisms. 🙂
