The world’s 50 most powerful blogs | Technology | The Observer

This is too much fun – I know the owners of #31, #34 and #39, and have met a shedload of the others.

Alas, the Observer also missed a bunch…

Hmm. The only one on that list I view at all regularly is icanhascheezburger, and I’ve only really heard of two or three others. I’m subscribed to none.

Either I’m wildly out of touch, or the Observer misunderstands importance.

  2. A bit of both, I think Clive. The top ten or so should be on anybody’s radar (anybody who reads or writes blogs anyway). After that the list is a heck of a lot more subjective and could more accurately be titled “one journo’s 50 favourite blogs”. Made my day, anyway.

I don’t read any of the top ten, and don’t think I have heard of most of them.

I do read 13 (Treehugger) but wish they would post less or split their categories into separate feeds.

    And Beansprouts of course 🙂
