   Hmm.. interesting, but it’s *VERY* buggy!

   Here’s one example crash.. and I’m not talking about the plane!

   I haven’t managed to crash the Linux version yet (the plane yes, program no), but I’ve probably not been trying hard enough..

   As you can see from the image, it’s the Microsoft Windows(tm) version of Google Earth.

   I was trying to fly around southern England at the time, with terrain turned on. It looks like it really messed up the DEM and so was getting in a pickle about rendering impossible terrains.
